Shipping conditions
Shipping conditions
Shipping only takes place during the warmer months of the year or, otherwise, when weather conditions permit. Heat packs are placed up to and just below the freezing point to ensure a consistent temperature throughout the transport period. We always ship from Tuesday to Thursday.
Saturday delivery with surcharge from the respective provider
Transport damage, evident from the destruction of the packaging by the carrier, must be reported to the carrier. The recipient must check the goods for completeness and any damage upon receipt together with the carrier. Deliveries in Germany usually take place between 8 and 10 a.m. or by 12 p.m. at the latest. This depends on weather conditions, distance to the GO depot, and driver workload.
Important!
Upon arrival of your order, the animals and corals must be removed from the transport bags IMMEDIATELY and allowed to adjust to the aquarium water. This is the only way to ensure that the animals and corals do not remain in the transport bags longer than necessary.
By ordering our coral breeding corals, invertebrates and fish, the customer confirms that the water values in his aquarium correspond to the values to be observed for the care of corals (especially small-polyp stony corals), fish and invertebrates, that his system is suitable for this and that he has the necessary knowledge for the care and operation of the aquarium system.
Reservation:
In the event of unavailability of individual corals of a certain type or size, we reserve the right to supply a coral of equivalent quality and price instead.
We only ship within the EU. If we don't have a VAT ID number, the German VAT rate will be included for deliveries outside of Germany.
Live animal transport guarantee:
We guarantee that the animals ordered will arrive alive within Germany.
Transport damage to live animals:
Despite careful handling and high-quality packaging, transport damage may occasionally occur.
Dead animals must be returned to us FREE on the day of arrival (the date of the postmark applies) and we must be notified in advance by email or phone by 3 p.m.
No postage-paid shipments will be accepted.
The bags must be returned in their original packaging without water. (Let the water escape by inserting a needle.)
Alternatively, photos of dead animals in their sealed transport bags, with our approval, and dated. Where possible, we will provide equivalent compensation (e.g., in the case of complete loss) or reserve the right to refund the purchase price for individual losses.
Examination of the corals
Despite careful inspection of the corals and planting stones, it may happen in very rare cases that "pests" on the corals have not been detected and/or removed by us.
It is therefore the responsibility of the recipient to examine the animals before placing them in their tank and, if necessary, to clean them themselves.
In isolated cases, branches may break off during transport, but the coral does not suffer any lasting damage. Alternatively, there may be tissue loss at coral tips (which are particularly sensitive), which can be easily removed by the aquarist by cutting off the affected branch below the damaged area without causing further damage to the coral.
Such cases do not constitute grounds for claiming or granting compensation.
