SEA SALT CLASSIC -

The sea salt for all saltwater aquariums

Tropic Marin ® SEA SALT CLASSIC is the ideal basis for the care of all marine organisms in the aquarium. The salt contains all major and trace elements of tropical seawater in natural proportions and is free from artificial additives, nitrates, and phosphates. A high proportion of buffering substances in the Tropic Marin ® SEA SALT CLASSIC leads to a stabilizing carbonate hardness of 9-10 °dH and thus efficiently avoids fluctuations in the pH value.

All our sea salts are made with pharmaceutically pure salts Only through our highest quality standards, geared to the production of medicines, can we guarantee the processing into nature-identical seawater.

  • ideal basis for all saltwater aquariums – even with high stocking
  • universally applicable – suitable for keeping and breeding fish, corals and other invertebrates as well as marine plants
  • to adjust the alkalinity to a range of 9-10 °dH
  • Stabilization of the pH value
  • fast and complete solubility in water
  • free from nitrates, phosphates and other unnatural enrichments
  • manufactured with pharmaceutically pure salts (highest quality standards geared to the production of medicines)
  • has been used successfully in zoos and scientific institutes for many years

To achieve a salinity of 32 – 35 ‰ (psu) dissolve 35 ml (approx. 37-40 g) Tropic Marin ® SEA SALT CLASSIC per liter of water in a container with water circulation. The seawater prepared in this way is ready to use as soon as the salt is completely dissolved and the solution is clear. The density of the sea salt solution should be 1.022 to 1.024 at a temperature of 25°C.

After setting up a new aquarium, stable biological conditions for the care of sensitive marine organisms only emerge after a few weeks of water circulation and lighting.

A weekly partial water change of up to 10% with Tropic Marin ® SEA SALT CLASSIC helps maintain the water quality in which your pets feel comfortable.
