KH/ALKALITNITY TEST
Product description:
To determine the carbonate hardness or alkalinity
Alkalinity characterizes the buffering capacity, i.e., the ability to maintain the pH of the water. It is determined by the proportion of bicarbonate and carbonate ions in the water, and with increasing pH, also by hydroxide ions. If the proportion of bicarbonate and carbonate ions is too low, a life-threatening drop in pH can occur for many fish and plants (acid collapse).
The Tropic Marin ® The KH/ALKALINITY test allows you to quickly check the buffer capacity of your aquarium water. The functional design of the test kit ensures high accuracy and ease of use.
