Years of research and testing are behind Red Sea's ReefLED™ intelligent reef lighting system. These lights are designed to ensure optimal coral growth and color reproduction, creating a subtle shimmering effect throughout the aquarium.
The ReefLED lights are guaranteed reef safe and REEF-SPEC ® and are very easy to set up.
The built-in WiFi connects the lights directly to the Internet, so you can control them from your smartphone using the ReefBeat ® Red Sea app.
The heart of the unit is a single, compact LED array with a multi-wavelength 23,000 Kelvin REEF-SPEC Blue channel (a unique blend of blue, violet and ultraviolet LEDs), which, together with a white channel (8000K), provides a reef-safe color temperature range that allows all corals to thrive.
Additionally, a separate 3W moonlight channel provides low light for reef-safe night viewing.
The ReefLED is controlled by Red Sea's ReefBeat app, which includes a variety of preset lighting programs to choose from, as well as additional features such as sunrise and sunset effects, a lunar cycle-based moonlight, random cloud drift, and even an acclimation program for new residents. ReefBeat also provides best-practice guidelines during setup and useful notifications for your smartphone, for example, in the event of a power outage.
The ReefLED also includes a hollow glass lens that ensures a homogeneous light spectrum with ideal PAR values throughout the aquarium, without creating hotspots or areas with insufficient light for coral growth.
