Elimi-Phos Longlife
ELIMI-PHOS Longlife consists of pure, dry iron hydroxide granules , specially developed for drinking water treatment. The optimal grain size allows for high water flow and rapid adsorption. The material's properties ensure easy and clean handling without the bleeding in the aquarium that is common with other iron hydroxides.
ELIMI-PHOS Longlife binds the pollutants so tightly that their re-release is reliably prevented. Its main applications include the successful control of undesirable algae growth and the improvement of growth conditions for plants and invertebrates.
Tropic Marin® ELIMI -PHOS Longlife can remain in the aquarium until its absorption capacity is exhausted. If the phosphate level rises again after the granules have been exhausted, it should be replaced with fresh ELIMI-PHOS Longlife.
To check the phosphate content, we recommend the Tropic Marin ® Phosphate Test, which shows as little as 0.05 mg/l of phosphate.
